Memory issue

I'm having a problem simply changing the speed (Mhz) of my RAM in the BIOS; the system won't boot at 1866Mhz. (Resets after applying changes, then boots - except leaves the screen blank. As if there's no video input).

I've updated the BIOS, checked the seating on the Memory, chcked for errors using MEMTEST86+, any suggestions?

Have you set the RAM voltage and timings correctly in the BIOS? If so, try giving the RAM more volts - 1.6v should be very safe, possibly more. It may also be that you need to amend multipliers - I'm not up with current AMD cpus but I expect someone else will be able to advise on that.

just might not be fully compatible with your board, not all is, saying that mind you, GeIL do make some great ram

The timings and voltages are currently on stock settings; will adjust voltages and report back.

Bumped the Voltage from 1.5v > 1.6v, still boots to a black screen. Perhaps they're just not fully compatible.
