Hi

I`ve been running a rig for past 3 months with relatively no issues but last couple of days had random freezes and as of this morning will no longer boot into Windows.
The BIOS only seems to stay stable for 4-5 mins before freezing and was thinking this is likely ram but I have limited means to troubleshoot.

My rig is :

AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
MSI MPG X570
Team Group 8Pack Edition 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C16 3600MHz
WD Blue SN550 1TB NVME M.2 2280
Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT Gaming OC 8GB GDDR6
be quiet! Pure Base 500 Midi Tower Case
be quiet! Straight Power 11 650W 80 Plus Platinum Modular Power Supply

I have no OC enabled or anything like that - all defaults

I have no access to spare components but was thinking of trying memory in different slots as a start or can I run with just 1 ?

Any advise appreciated

Thanks

Hadn`t had XMP on to be honest so RAM was running at 2600 which was a learning this morning.
Temps look good - most things in 30`s

I`ve took one stick out for now and so far its looking stable and was able to run the windows memory test with no issues so will repeat with other one in a couple of hours which will hopefully help narrow it down.

Yeah I would have tried with a single stick, just to eliminate any issues, if it stays stable then add the other stick back in see if the problem comes again

yep oddly enough both seemed to work OK independently and in alternating slots. Put them both back in again and back to nothing. Managed to get it booted again after pushing everything down on the board and its booted again now with both in so doing extension memory test with both in. Very odd but makes me think mobo which will be right pain to prove/RMA/sort.
