Memory Latency

Hi

In my previous BIOS version (Gigabyte x570 Aorus Pro v20a) I had coupled mode on at 3600/1800 FCLK and it was sub 70ns (typically 67.6ns) for the latency.

I've updated the BIOS (30a) and have tried to reinput the figures from Ryzen Calculator and I am getting >100ns.

The memory settings are below with my numbers next to them (so for tCL it says 16 and I've got 15). I've upped the FCLK to 1833 and it improved it a little but not anywhere near what it was before. I'm missing something but can't find out what.

Any ideas?

Hi

After looking at some old screenshots I had of my last memory optomisation I noticed that PBO wasn't enabled.

I enabled PBO and the memory speeds improved dramatically. Now at 67.7ns and much higher speeds for copying, etc.

For anyone else in this situation try PBO.
