Not sure if this is the right place, but lately my pc has started to eat up my ram, it using every single gb ( 6gb installed) ive looked in task manager and the highest memory usage is a svchost which is using up to about 220 mb, rest of the processes are between 24kb -> 70000 kb ( 72 current process running) i just cant see where the rest is going. Is there any software that would identify whats eating it up?

Just a side note it doesnt happen all the time, but at least once or twice a day for a good few minutes.

Are you running any particular software at the time or does this occur seemingly at random? I think you should be able to use sysinternals's process explorer (free download) to view a more detailed breakdown of which processes are doing what

Ive noticed it when i open some folders, but whats is confusing me is there isnt a correlation to the increase and anything in task manager/resource manager that shows that increase, as the processes running are only using about 20% of my ram, the other 80% just seems to get used by an invisble process.
