I'm upgrading a PC for someone with an Asus A8N-SLI Premium motherboard which according to the spec is compatible with 4 x DIMM, max 4GB, DDR 400/333/266, ECC, non-ECC, un-buffered memory.

I've got a spare HP 2Gb Memory kit, compromising of two 1Gb DDR400 PC3200 CL3 ECC Reg memory sticks (Part number 373029-851) will this work?

I thought this memory was mainly intended for servers such as the HP Proliant series, but would it work in a desktop motherboard?

Your help would be much appreciated!

I don't have the memory with me to try, and the motherboard is on site, so instead of travelling out of my way to try, I'd rather find out before going.

It looks like it should work, but obviously I'd rather be sure.
