I'm having trouble getting my memory running at it's full speed 2133mhz.

Memory is https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-138-GL 32Gb (4 x 8Gb)
Mobo is https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-375-GI

I've tried everything I can think of in the BIOS, XMP simply causes the PC to stop responding. I've set all timings etc. I can get it to run at 1866mhz but any more and it halts and tells me I've overclocked and I have to reset BIOS.

Gigabyte and Geil to be honest have been no help whatsoever. they merely keep telling me to enable XMP.

Can anyone help me out with this, maybe talk me through the BIOS settings I should be changing to make sure I'm doing this properly? i can't understand why XMP shouldn't work :-(

Well, the 2133mhz speed is for 2x8gb, not 4x8gb. If it works for 2 sticks but not 4 then I would say it's the memory controller not getting enough power. Have you tried raising the RAM voltage to 1.55v? Maybe go slowly up until 1.65v and see if it works then, if not, then stay with 1866mhz, you won't be losing any performance anyway.

Post up the actual timings your setting mate. We should be able to get this working no problem mate.

Include the secondary timings and all your voltages.
