memory not showing full spec

i have a asus p6t deluxe board with six gig of mem.but it only shows four gig. i have reinstalled the memory flashed the bios but still no luck can someone help please.

What version of Windows & (32 or 64bit) are you running?

*edit* I assumed you mean in Windows it says 4 gig or did you mean in the bios?

i have vista 64 bit system. on the bios it says 4 gb and on system 4gb

Sounds like you've got a dead stick then. Try them one at a time.

Could be a socket also, so be prepared to do some testing!
