Quick question regarding memory overclocking

Running a Dc setup
i5 4690k
2400mhz Ram
z97 mobo gigabyte

Now the rams defaulting to 1600mhz @ 1.540v
Now if i try to up the mhz to 2400 as its capable of by using XMP profile the voltage shoots to 1.6932v and the timings change as expected which is great

But my question is, is that voltage safe? The board even flags it up and highlights it as being overclocked voltage wise

I always input the RAM frequency & timings manually and leave voltage at stock.
As far as i can see XMP is only adjusting timings, voltage and frequency, Iv set the voltage to 1.64v manually which is deemed safe enough for now. 1.65 seems to be the maximum according to many
