Have noticed dropping prices on Ram and general Memory etc, is there a reason for this etc? Or is it just newer gen stuff filtering through to take premium prices?

There has been a global downward trend in ram prices due to low demand and it is filtering through to our market now. This is unlikely to change in the short to meduim term and supply is likely to outstrip demand for the foreseeable future.

Is it just cause we are all poor now lol?

Partly. Before and during covid (cos of work from home, support payments and shipping issues) there was high demand for pc gear, but now there's an oversupply and with high inflation / cost of borrowing, fuel prices, sanctions, 'n stuff the global economy is trending down and so are disposable incomes.

Prices on RAM and general memory have been dropping due to increased competition in the market, as well as the introduction of newer, more advanced technologies. This has allowed manufacturers to offer more competitive prices, while still providing quality products. Additionally, as newer generations of technology become available, older generations become less desirable and therefore less expensive.
