Hi guys

My PC likes to randomly reboot itself and leave nothing but a little message in the event log. After eliminating all the things it probably isn't, the only idea I have left is that I have a memory fault. However, I've run thorough memory tests with both memtest86 and the MS tool, with no results. This is with different physical slots for each RAM stick, one at a time.
I have however noticed that it only does this under stress (World of Warcraft :p) and doesn't appear to do it if I only have one of the sets of memory in it, in either set of dual channel slots.
Thoughts? I'm considering buying a 2GB kit and ditching the old to fleebay.

Gigabyte DS4
Core2Duo E6400
2x Geil PC6400 4-4-4-12 (2x512mb)
Antec Neopower 480w
Connect3d X1950XT

Cheers.

Does it just reset, or do you get a BSOD first? It could be a dodgy PSU if it's just resetting with no errors. You can force Windows to throw an error instead of just resetting, which will tell you if it's PSU related.

It just restarts, no BSOD, gonna set windows to throw a BSOD instead and we'll see. I imagine there is one since it creates an event afterwards.
