Raise the memory divider to 1:2 and your memory voltage (vdimm) to 2.2 or 2.3v.

That should be enough.

Thanks Cob

BUT, in the Bios there does not appear to be a feature to enable (memory divider) and as for the memory voltage (vdimm), that feature is in uGuru, which is in the part of Abit Bios for overclocking.

The motherboard and memory should be able to be set without the need to clock it, as the MB and Ram are set standard 1066MHz.

Thanks

Because that's high-performance RAM, OCZ warranty it up to 2.4 volts. So you won't actually be overclocking.

Thanks Mattus

I have now changed the DDR SDRAM Voltage settings in uGuru in the Abit bios from, 1.80v to 2.10v, Also I change the setting in the main Bios in DRAM Timing selectable from 5-5-5-13 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS) To 5-5-5-15.

However screen still shows: Memory Frequency for DDR2 667 Speciations and Host/DRAM frequency is 68/85MHz.

If anybody knows how to setup the Abit AW9D-MAX Intel 975X Bios to make full use of DDR2 8500 1066MHz memory please help.

Thanks to those who have tried to help so far.

Oli

Nobody knows how to setup a Abit AW9D-MAX Intel 975X Bios to run 1066MHz memory.

Surely not? Cant be! What will happen to the Planet!!! Oh No.

Overclockers sell this motherboard stateing
(4 DIMM DDR2 1066/800/667/533max. 8GB).

Sorry had a fuse blow out
