Im just so pi**ed off atm, my pc just shuts itself down all the time, and try's to come on but just doesn't seem to register to the monitor to come on, ive tried taking 2gb ram out 3gb ram out, but just keeps crashing, its only sometimes luck to power on so i can actually get on the pc, i just don't know what the problem is, also when i do finally boot up, it comes up Overclocking Failed, but i haven't actually overclocked anything so i can't see what's happening the only thing that might be causing that would be my GFX (XFX 8800GTX XXX Edition), can anyone help me, as im really thinking about throwing these sticks away and getting 4GB of Corsair?
ATM i have 2 Sticks in (2GB) Dual Channel.
On the sticks themselves have the timings as CL= 4-4-4-12 Voltage 2.1V
But on CPU-Z says that they are 5-5-5-18 2.3 DRAM? Is this the problem and how would i fix this?
Specs are as follow:
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 6600 @ 2.40 Ghz

try under advanced settings ,RAM voltage may also be called DDR2 voltage it normally defults at 1.8V or is set to auto

take the battery out of your MB and leave for ~5 mins then replace it, this should reset your bios to its defult settings, then turn up the ram voltage, see if that works

Like i said i have no idea where stuff is, so where actually is the battery on the mobo?, I know where the CMOS jumper is which ive already tried, but no luck. Had a look on Manual, doesn't say anything about Battery :(
