Runs on a mobo that supports only up to 800MHz?

I am a lil confused atm, Heh.

Need some clarification...

Ram is backwards compatable, so DDR1 400mhz will run at 266mhz in a older mobo, same with DDR2, ram thats 1066mhz will run at 800mhz in mobos that are only 800mhz.

Very few motherboards currently claim to support over 800mhz.

But in reality an awful lot will do in excess of 1100mhz.
