Memory Query?

This is the setup i want to purchase soon.

AMD ATHLON 64 3800+ 2.4GHz (SOCKET-AM2).
ASUS M2N32-SLI-DLX nFORCE 590 SLI (SOCKET-AM2) PCI-EXPRESS DDR 2 MOTHERBOARD.
CORSAIR 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TWINX (2x1GB).

I've noticed that when i was browsing the AMD AM2 section on overclockers

AM2 FX-62 DDR2-800 or DDR2-1066 (PC2-6400 - PC2-8500)
AM2 Dual Core X2 DDR2-667 or 800 (PC2-5300 or PC2-6400)
AM2 Athlon 64 DDR2-533 or 667 (PC2-4200 or PC2-5300)
AM2 Sempron DDR2-533 or 667 (PC2-4200 or PC2-5300)

Now the processor i want to buy is in this catagory AM2 Athlon 64 DDR2-533 or 667 (PC2-4200 or PC2-5300) which is 533 - 667MHz range. But the memory i have chosen CORSAIR 2GB DDR2 XMS2-6400C4 TWINX (2x1GB) is in the 800MHz range which is in this catagory AM2 Dual Core X2 DDR2-667 or 800 (PC2-5300 or PC2-6400).

Will this make any difference?

No difference really, you'll just have more headroom for overclocking

Oh right thats quite good then i thought it looked like it depended on the processor type. Have i made the right choice in picking this setup for gaming and other windows tasks.

Have you considered a Conroe setup? It does look like an amazing CPU.

Yes i have considered it can't find the right choice of board on overclockers what do you recommend to use if i decide to go that path and any release dates as im iching to start buying this friday.

Availability will be middle of July-ish, so if you need to buy next friday it won't be any good to you. Board wise the best seem to be the BadAxe and DFI 975X

I did read other posts made about both motherboards im quite interested in the Intel Badaxe but overclockers don't sell them.
