Memory Question

I already have 2 x 4GB DDR3 1600mhz in my rig... I also have a spare 4GB stick of DDr3 1600mhz available.

Is it worth banging that in and using 3 sticks and leaving 1 dimm free?

You would be running in single channel so would lose performance. 8GB is more than enough for most tasks anyway.

Theoretically 50% but more like 10-15% in the real world. It becomes more apparent in memory intensive applications though.

I don't remember COD:AW being anything intensive..
