I currently have x2 16GB corsair vengeance rgb Pro DDR4 memory sticks part number cmwx16gc3600c18w2d for a total of 32GB that i am running in dual channel a2 and b2 memory slots. I want to take my memory up to 64GB as i do a lot of virtualization (running virtual machines for job) and i have two memory banks free on the mobo so was planning on buying an extra 32GB for 64GB total. I cant seem to find any Corsair vengeance rgb memory with this exact part number when i have looked. Is it ok if i buy something like below its Corsair vengenance RGB Pro DDR 4 and same speed 3600Mhz and same CAS latency so would this be ok ? or does have it the exact same model for dual channel with all four banks filled ?

Most of the time, you’re better off going with matched DIMMs for the best supported speed and timings but it might work

Check your motherboards QVL list for memory

A Quick Look suggests that it’s a motherboard model that can support a 4 by 16gig setup of paired memory modules but that’s only if they’re a matched set.

Id try get the exact same model of memory if you can but if you can’t, it might be better off going for a 2 by 32gig setup.

I had issues with my X570 Tomahawk running 4 by 8gig modules at 3200 MT/s in EXPO but yours appears to be more robust.

It'll very likely be fine, just make sure to set it to the speed of the slower one, the new kit from corsair is likely slower on the other three timings after cas.
It is also always possible with 4 sticks you won't get "advertised" speeds of the board/cpu/ram but you're not pushing it too hard if youre not ocing so it'll likely be fine at whatever the speeds of the slowest kit are. Can always step down a speed bin or cas latency too via bios to make it work.
Mis matched ram in and of itself isn't a problem except you give up some minor performance on one/some sticks. Outlier compatibility problems and exceptions do occur so it's great practice to avoid it if possible, but it's certainly common to mix and match.

I know the corsair speeds from very recently RMAing one of my two sets iirc 16/18/18/38 3200 which I ran at 16/19/19/40 3600 I think. Every replacement kit was same cas but like 16/20/20/42 or worse.

Worst case, send the new kit back.
