These are my specs:

Asus M2N-E, AM2 4600+ and OCZ 2GB DDR2 PC5400 Ram.

I've just run CPU-Z, and it's stating that my ram is running only at around 333MHz, I'm pretty sure that PC5400 runs at double that speed?

Do I have to manually increase the speed somewhere? Have I received some dodgy ram? :(

It seems to be running fine???

It dual channel so for the memory slot you have shown it running at 300mhz, combined with *** other slot that will be running at 300mhz as well which obviously make it 600mhz?

I have two sticks. Do you mean that each stick runs at 333MHz? Or each channel of each stick is running at that speed making a combined 667MHz?

ram should be running at 667mhz, to me it looks like its only displaying the SDR speed so for you its probably running at 600mhz. if so then its running underlocked.

you need to check in your bios what your settings are set to.

Under any specific point? I've had a look but there's nothing there to tell me about ram speeds unless I'm searching under the wrong section?

not familiar with the bios on that board, someone else might reply but best thing to do is post in the motherboard section the model of you board asking for bios help.

CPU-Z doesn't double the RAM frequency like it should. If it says it's running at 300, then it's really running at 600.

I assume that your cpu is running at 300 and your RAM is on the 1:1 (or 200) divider?

You will only get your RAM to run at its rated speed by increasing your CPU's frequency to 333Mhz (good luck) or by using a 10:11 RAM divider (and I don't think you'll find one tbh).
