Recently purchased some Corsair 8GB 1600Mhz DDR3 CMX8GX3M2A1600C9 memory and need some advice.
It's currently running at 1333Mhz, default voltage setting in BIOS (1.5v I think) and at 9-9-9-24. According to CPU-Z.
This seem to be running fine at this but I cannot get it to run at the rated 1600Mhz, is this because my AM3 system? when I choose 1600mhz in BIOS and change the voltage to 1.65v the computer just constantly loops/restarts and I have to remove the battery to reset CMOS.
Any advice is appreciated.
