Memory Settings help

Hey guys,

Can anyone tell me how i get this new memory i purchased to run at 1600 whilst my cpu is at 3.8ghz?

Everytime i set the cpu to run at 3.8, the mem runs at 1523 instead of 1600. Is there a way to adjust the cpu without the memory settings being adjusted?

have you tried manually setting the speeds of the ram and cpu in the bios.?

The memory speed is done on the multiplier, I think the only way is to get the speed to 1600 mhz is to raise the cpu speed to 4ghz odd.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the replys. And yes the only was i can get the mem to run at 1600 is to set the cpu speed to 4ghz. But cant seem to keep it stable at that speed. PC crashes and i get blue screens. Prime fails aswell.

Dont know what else to try. Whats the safe voltage to put through the cpu running it at 4ghz?

adjust your qpi voltage will make the dominators much more stable
