Memory settings

hi there. i recently bought some G skill ram which is running at DDR500 stock.
the problem is i want to install it in my dad's pc until my rig is built, and i found to my shock that the BIOS has no memory setting options whatsoever.

its an Imperial motherboard version 1.02 by TriGem Computer Inc. running version 6 of the phoenix bios dated 10/02/2003. is there anyway for me to manually set memory timings and speed Inside windows or something? as i do NOT want to re flash the BIOS on this machine. thanks in advance.

chipset : i845G revision B1
southBridge: 82801DB ( ICH4)

hmm i saw a prog called a64 tweaker, it allows you to change Ram settings and latencies in windows, problem being its for athlon systems only. is there an intel alternative?

nevermind. the mobo cant handle it. the BIOS beeps three times and doesnt boot. it can only support up to pc2100 anyway lol.
