memory slots

My friend has a philips freevents x59. I'n not sure yet whether this has one slot or two, but if it has two and one is occupied with 1GB, can a i put a second stick in without buying a new pair? It's DDR2. Ta

best way is to open the case up, and have a look at what slots are free and what slots are taken up

and yeah you can buy another 1 gig stick if there is an available slot, just make sure its the same speed, voltage and same timmings mate
