Memory Spec.

Hi msm722, the OCZ memory kit that you have linked too will be absolutely fine. All though, you could save a couple of pound and go for this memory kit here which is basically exactly the same but slightly cheaper. :)

I'm guessing I can't run the new memory with the old?

Hi msm722, you could do but it would only be worth doing if you are using a fully functional 64-bit system. If you did decide to do that though, you would have to downclock the Corsair memory to run at the rated speed of the Crucial kit but make sure you set the CAS latency timings to CAS5 (5-5-5-18). Though, I guess you could try running the Corsair kit at CAS4 or even CAS3 latency timings but I'm not entirely sure that will be possible.

Alternatively, you could overclock the Crucial memory and run them at 800MHz at CAS5 latency timings which the Crucial kit shouldn't have any problems doing. :)
