I don't want to overclock the CPU or RAM. I know Memory on auto = 1333MHz which is normal. Do I set the memory to XMP(which I don't like) or do it manually. Am I safe going into the bios and manually changing the speed to 2133Mhz, timings to 11-11-11-31 and voltage 1.65v and that's it or will it affect other settings and require other changes. Just a little confused. thankyou for any help.

I should add that changing RAM to XMP on my previous board affected the idling voltage on my CPU which is the reason I don't like it. It might have changed or be different between boards but I still prefer manual

Setting XMP will be fine, all it does is automatically set the ram speed, timings and voltages. You can manually enter them if you wish but like the old saying, why bark when you can get a dog to do that.:)

Yaiiiii :) you were right XMP didn't change anything apart from the ram unlike my previous board. I just hope its stable at stock. Thankyou for your help
