Hi,
I've just read a thread similar to my issue.
The ram i've got is supposed to run at about 1066. But at the minute its at 400.
I have screenshots from cpu-z.

Thanks.

If you want your ram to run at the advertised speed you are going to have to enable the profile of the ram (if there is one) or you will need to manually change the settings in your bios to do so.

Have a read of the manual if you are not sure how to do that. And if you are still a bit unsure post back here with a bit more detail. Stuff like what your system is and all that - pretty sure that some of the smart folks here at OCUK will help you out mate.

nakira, as said, it is currently running at 800mhz, which is double the 400 number you see (DRAM frequency). If you look on the SPD tab in CPUz, JDEC#1 - 3 show up to 400 (800mhz) next to that #epp1 shows 533 DRAM frequency (dual channel so double pumped to 1066mhz) which is the number you will have to set in the bios.

What mobo and bios are you using - there should be a tab labelled "set dram frequency" or something like that, thats where you put in your number "533".

Hope that helps, I try to explain nice n simple.
