Memory speed issue

Hi

I have just built a system with the following:

Corsair Vengeance LPX 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C18 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit (Black)
Asus ROG Strix B550-F Gaming (AMD AM4) B550 ATX Motherboard
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X Eight Core 4.7GHz (Socket AM4) Processor - Retail


The system is auto-detecting the RAM at 2133 Mhz, should it not detect it at least 3200Mhz ?

Any help appreciated.

You will need to enter the BIOS and either use the XMP/DOCP profile to set the speed or set it manually. The default is 2133mhz.

If you haven't already I would also make sure that you are on the latest BIOS for that motherboard as well. They usually try and iron out memory issues with later BIOS releases.
