memory speed or timings best for 9600kf @5Ghz

I plan to overclock a 9600kf to 5Ghz on a Gigabyte Auros Elite motherboard , and want to know is it speed of ram or timings that are most important for this build
Also some ram suggestions please for a 32GB kit ( would having 32GB effect overclocking potential compared to 16GB )
