Hey,

My memory is 2400mhz but automatically downclocks to 2133, so I've increased it to 2400 with the XMP profile. However, I'm not sure it's entirely 100% happy about that, though, for the most part, it seems to be ok.

Is there anything I should do like increasing voltage or run a test of some kind? Memory is one of the things I'm most inexperienced on so any help would be appreciated.

Ta. :)

Can you post the full specs of your machine as this varies a lot.

(Currently, Windows 7 64bit HP)
6600K (4.2ghz)
Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 3 motherboard
16gb Corsair Vengeance Low Profile DDR4 (2400mhz)
Be Quiet! 650w

Is that enough or do you want absolutely everything? I've included what I imagine will be relevant. :)

Sig updated now anyway, so hopefully, that'll be sufficient.

Yep, it really doesn't like it. The PC wouldn't even restart so I had to power it down then start up again, enter the bios and disable the XMP profile.

Limitation of the motherboard?
