memory speed reducing ?
hi all i have a question for ya, i just o/cd my cpu a p4 3.2 pres ht
and the only way i can do this with my system is via fsb and for some reason my memory speeds reduce once i get past 214 fsb.
why is this?
my m/board is a gigabyte ga 8i848 pm s478 and i have a 1 gig stick of ddr 400
at 214 fsb = 3.43ghz and 428 mhz mem
at 220 fsb = 3.53ghz and 365 mhz mem
when i had 2 x 512 sticks of ddr 333 i never noticed this happen
any ideas?
