Just wondering I'm new to this A64 thing (my cpu is actually a sempron64) but do tighter memory timings = hotter cpu because of the on die memory controller?

That's good to know, cos I have two sticks of cheapo crap ram doing 2.5-3-3-5-1T @ 240mhz just thought it might be holding my oc back cos only problem is my temps - time for something a bit more powerful that the stock cooler I think

its one stick of samsung original rated at 3-3-3-8 and a stick of kingston value ram rated at 2.5-3-3-7 both run flawlessly @ 2.5-3-3-5 240 mhz will pass overnight memtest

I do have to say though, I am waiting for next door to complain about the noise all my fans make lol there is less air circulation in a wind tunnel
