I've got an asrock dual mobo, some crucial elcheapo ram (2x512) and an amd san-diego 3700 clocked to 2.75. I'd got the memory timings at 1t @ 196 ish
now I'm a noobie when it comes to overclocking, but I've had problems every now and again when surfing using firefox where it suddenly resets itself, no warning no nothing. tonight it did it three times in a row when trying to get to the uk page of www.tomtom.com I seem to remember reading that memory timings could cause this so I set them to 2t and it then loads the page fine. is this coincidence?
I only had chance to load the page once cos I was getting nagged to leave the house which is why you will have to excuse the lack of searching and typos....

its a new install, but I've not run a memory tester, just cpu tests. ill have a play now I've got more time, I'm pretty sure its a memory problem.

thanks for replying
