Memory training?

i have a very very bad memory and my boss has offered to pay for me to go on a memory training couse. Anyone been one before?
 
i don't expect any results but he is adamant i should go. Will cost me nothing and i will a day or 2 off work :)

there just little brain teasers and techniques that are suppose to make you remember stuff better like memory association and stuff it pretty easy

i went to a 1 day one when i was at college

I would expect results because the techniques are pretty simple :). There are plenty of websites and books with them in but I guess going on a course will probably make it more intereesting and accelerate the effect.
 
Yup, there are plenty of techniques to improve memory - mostly involving associating things that the brain is bad at remembering with those it is good at remembering (e.g. numbers to pictures). Worth a try for sure.
 
Dr Kawashima can only go so far. Better to be taught how to do it properly from the outset then use a DS to maintain the skills learned.
