Memory Upgrade Assistance

I am looking to upgrade from 8GB of Ram to 16GB, I have a MSI Z77A-GD65 Motherboard and I have the Noctua NH-U12P SE2 with both fans attached so not sure what memory will fit in it.

By the looks of it I cannot have anything higher than the bog standard memory size height but any confirmation and recommendations would nice welcomed.

I have not overclocked my processor and dont intend to and dont need anything too extreme, just an upgrade from 8 to 16GB.

Why do you want 16Gb of RAM? what do you use your PC for? do you have a suitable 64bit OS?

Large file transfers, multiple firefox tabs open as well as some other tasks and games.

Also use fraps along with video editing and encoding, nothing extreme but the 8GB is what just came free with the motherboard, Geil stuff.

When doing large bulk transfers ive seen the physical memory go up around 40-50% (Not % increase to current number, I mean on top. So idle 20-30% would go up to 70-80%) and just want to have plenty of leeway to work with.
