First time post, long time reader. Hitting you guys up for some help as you all seem very knowledgeable, any help or pointers are appreciated.
Anyways, quick backstory. I have an OC machine which was brought OC and has worked like a dream for over a year. I have 6gig of ram in, and recently decided to double that and go for 12gig.
After some research and making sure everything was compatable, I took the plunge and brought -
12-DX5454-IDIF5FJ4 Corsair CMT12GX3M3A2000C9 Dominator GT 12GB 2000MH.
I was also provided with new settings which would make the OC within the bios all come in line with the new ram. HOWEVER, the below settings cause an issue where I Cannot boot.
Upon saving the new settings, the computer cannot find the HDD. I go back into the BIOS, and my HDD is not listed, hence the terminal cannot boot back up. I should specify I havent amended any settings to do with HDD or anything else.
If I change the settings to run the ram at 1800mhz, this works. But without all the other changes.
Could someone provide some info or tweaks to the below which might show me why my HDD isnt being picked up? (HDD is working fine with old OC settings).
Terminal Spec -
Intel Core I7 960 @ 3.2ghz (with optional overclock to 4.2ghz ish) , it is running on the OC profile
