Lovely Wolver-ampton!
Yikes... so many memory types now!

I'd like to ditch my 1gb (2 x 512) and replace with 2 x 1gb

There's so many brands and speeds. I'm pretty sure I need pc3200 but I'd like to check first. It's a BIOSTAR 210p small form factor unit with AMD 64 3200 processor if that helps.

Ideal I'd like to spend less than 60 quid if at all possible. Help!

Great idea, unfortunately as it's a SF box, I only have 2 slots, so thought the best plan was to buy a matched set.

oh, and my mem is currently working in dual channel mode. unmatched would work, albeit not in dual channel mode (and i think at my end of the system build spec, dual channel offers marginal performance increases... it's not a gaming rig anyways.

anyone know if the link above will work with my system?

That pc4200 stuff you linked to is ddr2 not ddr1 so no it wont work if your board only takes ddr ram.

Yes you are right though that if you get higher speed ddr ram (pc3500/4000/4400) it will clock down and run as pc3200.
