I currently have an Asus P6T deluxe mono with 6gb of Ripjaws memory installed its triple channel and I have 3 x 2 mb sticks.

The mobo has 6 slots and I was wondering what cheapish upgrade options I have. Can anyone help?

Sorry for the typo on the title. Should have read advice. Teach me for typing in a meeting.

You could either add another 6gb of the same ram you have, or another brand with the same voltage and timings. This may affect your cpu oc due to filling all memory slots, as this places more strain on the memory controller on the cpu. Another option is to purchase a 12gb kit in a 3x4 config, again the strain will be a bit more than a 3x2gb kit, but less than 6x2gb. I have the same board with a 12gb (3x4gb) kingston hyperx kit and it works very well. Qpi dram is the voltage setting that needs to be tweaked when adding more ram on the x58 platform.
