Memory upgrade for DS3 Rev 2.0

Guys

I have a Gigabyte DS3 Rev 2.0 and am looking to go to a cheap 8GB memory upgrade. I run a lot of VMs because of my work/study and as my PC doubles up as games machine/work hybrid, I need the extra memory BADLY.

Currently using Geil 4x1GB Sticks of 6400 (800mhz)

I want at least the same performance from a memory upgrade and I was wondering if these would be ok? Would these be compatible with my board?

OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series DDR2 (OCZ2G8004GK)


Thoughts anyone?

I just looked into this a few days ago, decided agains the OCZ because of problems with them and my Asus motherboard. I decided on some GeIL ones instead. I got 4x2GB C4 6400.
Note the OCZ ones might work fine on the gigabyte board, just they dont play well with asus for some reason lol.
