Memory upgrade for old X79 mobo

Hi Guys,

My current mobo is :

Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3, Intel X79 Chipset from 2013

It can run DDR3 and it only has 16GB of memory at the moment. Can anyone suggest a decent upgrade to 32GB please?

I was looking at this ram https://www.overclockers.co.uk/king...l-quad-channel-kit-hx318c9srk4-my-206-ks.html but the compatibility list on that page does not mention X79.

That should work no problem at all. Your board should accept just about any DDR3. Kingston RAM is decent and the Savage stuff is good. I have a 2x4GB kit at home.
