Hi I hope someone can help me.
I have fair experience of upgrading PC's but this is the first time I have encountered a memory upgrade issue.
I am up grading the following system ready for Windows 7.
Old Foxconn socket 775 (RC4107MA-8KRS2H) motherboard
Pentium 4 3.00
XpertVision 8600 GTS 512MB PCI-E
Buffalo DDR2 PC2-5300 512MB 667MHz
As the board only supports 2GB max (2xDIMMS) I purchased the Corsair value select 2GB memory kit as this is the only one available on Overclockers.
On testing the memory I get a continuous beep beep beep at boot up and have to remove the memory again. tried all combinations
Any suggestions before I send them back?
Regards
Tom
