Memory upgrade Q

Hi fellas,

Would going from this RAM:

to this RAM:

be worthwhile?

Yeah, I'm not on sandybridge - P55 mobo. I've read the reports that speed makes little difference on SB, but is that the same on 1156? Would the extra capacity offset the lower speed?

For that price I'm seriously thinking about it (got until 6pm to decide)

Just checked cpuz and my current overclock has the RAM running at 1700mhz. Here's another Q: Would the Crucial 1600mhz spaz out at that speed?

Looks like frequency makes very little difference on a Lynnfield too.

The Ripjaws cost me £105 15 months ago, so it'll be nothing to shout to loudly about.
