I'm looking to upgrade from 512MB to 2GB but need to know what would be the best way to go.
I'm currently using a 4CoreDual-Vsta motherboard which limits the memory to a maximum of 2GB of DDRII 5300. My question is weather it would be best to upgrade my motherboard so I could install higher speed memory or will I not notice much difference between speeds anyway?
The reason i'm upgrading is mainly for gaming (BF2, BF2142 ect) but don't have the budget to buy hardware for amazing performance.
Was thinking of this as a possibility Crucial 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-5300
Also, I won't be doing any overclocking.
