Memory upgrade question

I have an Asus P5K Premium/WiFi-AP motherboard fitted with 4 GB of OCZ DDR2 Reaper RAM. The RAM is running at 800 MHz as I never got it to run reliably at its rated 1066 MHz.

I'd like to upgrade to 8 GB RAM. OCZ don't make RAM any more. Could I buy 4 GB of e.g. Corsair DDR2 800MHz RAM?

Or do I need to buy 8 GB of the Corsair RAM and sell the OCZ RAM?

you can mix and match it (may) affect performance.

4 sticks of the same brand would be better but not needed.
