Hey Guys,

Ive decided to upgrade my memory and am a little unsure of what to get.

My PC Specs are
AMD Athlon FX55 (Socket 939) - Retail (CP-099-AM)
Asus A8N-SLi nForce4 SLi (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-087-AS)
Crucial 1GB (2x512MB) DDR PC4000 Ballistix Dual Channel Kit (MY-041-CR)

Does anyone what the best memory is I could run with this? am I limited by anything at all?

I would preferably like to stay with Crucial as Ive no problems with them but unfortunatly I cant get the above memory any more.

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Or Should I go 2x1Gb? and sell the other ram

Thanks guys, Ive saved up a bit of money for this, so I would like to get the best ram I can get for my motherboard (I can always use it later on then aswell)

Ive gone through the www.Asus.com site and this is all I can find is;

A8N-SLI supports AMD 939-pin Athlon 64 FX/ Athlon 64 processors with 1MB/512KB L2 cache which is based on 64-bit architecture. It features 2000/1600 MT/s HyperTransport Bus and dual-channel un-buffered DDR400 memory support.

I cant seem to find any ram that fits DDR400 description, they all talk about the PC5400, PC2-8000 and then running at everything from 667MHz to 1000Mhz. I presume the faster is better so you want a higher Mhz but whats all the PC*** stuff about? Or does it matter ?

Does all ram with the same amount of Pins (240 Pin DIMM) fit into any motherboard?

Im a lilttle worried about spending so much money and then now having the ram work
