hello ,im thinking of upgrading my memory(triple channel) as it looks to be going cheap on ocuk ,something due to the sanybridgechip probably, as triple channel not so in vogue now ,i have 6gb corsair ddr pc3 12800c9 16000mhz what gains will i see if i upgrade to 12gb ,and can some one explain the advantages of triple channel over dual if any ?
i also heard if have more memory i can free up some of my ssd disc space (60gb) as i can use the memory to read/write ,
the programs i am running are photo video based ie lightroom 3 photoshop elements and premiere ,would more memory be advantge to these applications ?
