Memory upgrade

Hi all, I am currently running 4gb of this (no longer sold):

G.Skill 4GB DDR2 PK PC2-8500C5 (2x2GB) CAS5 Dual Channel Kit (F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK)

It is getting used up quite quickly when running lots of applications (and the odd Eve client here and there ;)) so I'd like to upgrade / buy some more.

What would be a good recommendation?

This seems to be the only available memory similar to what I have at the moment (was thinking of getting 8gb):

I'm using:

CPU - Q9550 @ 3.7ghz (435 x 8.5)
mobo - Asus P5K Premium
GFX - HD 5970

Thanks for any advice.

The Kingston's frequency, timings and importantly the recommended voltage match that of the G.Skill (googling the G.Skill spec) - so you shouldn't 'in theory' have any problems.

If you do have problems getting all 4 sticks stable - try upping the MCH voltage an increment or two - as 4 sticks will stress the memory controller and as a result it sometimes requires more juice.

EDIT: Are you running a 64 bit OS?
