Memory Upgrade ?

I have a Dell XPS 17 and thinking about upgrading memory from 8GB to 16GB
Would I notice any speeds changes upgrading to this amount of memory ?

I use Photoshop CS6 and have large Jpeg files ? and transfer large amounts of data ?

just wonder if I added X2 (8GB) would its speed things up or would it just be a waste of money ?

Totally depends on how far you are pushing the boundaries of your current 8gb. If you're pushing say 7.6GB+ or your computer is slowing down/locking up, you could benefit from another 8gb but if you're not - you won't see a difference *at all* and with the way RAM is priced now, treat you and your family to a meal instead

I got a good price of £75.00 , if that's a good price

£75 for 8gb of RAM? That's very expensive mate. 50 is about tops what I'd pay.

I think that is 16GB
