Memory usage

I've just booked up my system and my memory usage is around 22 - 24%. Is that normal for a system that's just been started up and only running the OS and Avast Anti Virus?

Oh crap! That might help yeah! Lol I'm running 4gb memory at the moment.

Weill i run windows 7 64bit and my idle usage is 34% with all my AV and ati crap and sound drivers that have to load i remember when i did a fresh install it was around 26%

What windows are you running

I'm running windows 7 64bit. If you're running idle on 34% I believe that my 22 - 24% is reasonable. Thanks man
