Hi Guys,

I'm looking at overclocking for the first time and I notice some memory sate it should be ran at a certain voltage. Other memory gives a boundary where instead of saying it needs to be ran at 2.2v it says 2.2 - 2.4.

In this instance what voltage should you use?

You should alway use the lowest voltage that your memory will run stable at. For overclocking you will need to increase the voltages to achieve stable ram at higher speeds. its best not to run the ram any higher than the manufactures stated upper voltage. if it says 2.2 - 2.4 don't go above 2.4.

Higher voltages reduce the lifespan of the memory.
