Currently running 2gb of 6400 Crucial Ram, Looking to upgrade due to installing Vista.

I have my 6300 under water and clocked at a stable 3.0ghz.

Should I buy 4gb of this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...0C6 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit (KHX8500AD2K2/4G) and try push the cpu further (probabally only another 500mhz max)

Or should I buy a matched set of 4gb 6400 ram and add it in with my current memory and run 6gb?

Decisions decisions!

I'd for a 2x2gb 8500 kit, but that one is C6 so probably is pants, go for a C5 kit :)

Then you can sell the 2x1gb and get some of your money back

Would I see a massive increase in performance though? The prices are almost double and there is nothing set in stone that the cpu will overclock massivly further.

decided on the 4gb corsair to match what I have 6gm is meant to be a sweet spot in vista after reading a few posts :)
