Memory will not reach it's speed.

Hello
i have this Ram set
https://www.gskill.com/product/165/...DDR4-3600MHz-CL16-19-19-39-1.35V32GB-(2x16GB)
on an Asus ROG Z390 E Gaming. It will not run at 3600Mhz XMP2 1.35V, it will only run stable at 3400Mhz.
I have never had Ram that has not reach it's claimed speed, so what is going on here? The xmp profile in the bios do say it is 3600Mhz CL16 ram with the right timings.

Have you tried plumbing in the settings manually just in case XMP isn't setting something correctly. I always like to set memory up manually (timings, frequency and voltage).

Does it work at the right speeds with just x1 DIMM installed? Could always be a duff module but G.Skill stuff is usually sweet as a nut.

Yes i have, i can get it to run on 3500 @1.4v but it's not stable. If i set it to 3600 the machine just boot loops. I have not tried 1 stick at a time yet.
