Hi All,
Strange issue as far as I can tell.
I've been overclocking components for years now, and part of my stability testing suite has always been memtest. Pre built floppy iso, then cd and now the pure DOS exe for a bootable mem stick.
Only thing is i'm getting errors from 2 systems i believe to be 100% stable. It also fails at stock on both systems.
One is P45 based (P5Q Pro) with E8300 and 2x2GB Corsair DHX 6400 4-4-4-12, the other is X38, (P5E - Rampage Formula Bios), E8300 with 4x1GB Corsair Dominator v4.1.
The other tests I always run are below, all passed for the time shown on both systems.
Prime95 v25.6 24Hrs Small
Prime95 v25.6 24Hrs Blend
OCCT v2 24Hrs Mix
OCCT v2 24Hrs RAM
OCCT v2 24Hrs CPU
3DMark06 24Hrs Loop
Not an error, no stability issues from the above, stock or clocked.
Is there any compatibility issues with Memtest and my hardware? No ammount of tweaking, voltage ammends, timings etc will stabilise it.
Any suggestions/help appreciated,
PoDd
